Ethical Supply

Are your products being ethically sourced? More and more Brits are not only looking to spice things up in the bedroom but are curious and want to know more on where their products came from, how they are made and are the employees of the manufacturers being treated fairly and paid a fair living wage.

In this segment we’ve focused on several different areas of the industry’s supply chain to see what’s occurring

Environment – Svakom. Founded in 2012 the Svakom brand is known globally in the adult industry for its creative, affordable, and top-quality products. But how does Svakom become an environmentally friendly business? I have been delving into the company’s profile to find out

2022 celebrates Svakom’s 10 year anniversary and since the company launch it has pushed the boundaries of technology and produced some of the most exciting bedroom toys; debuting with Siime Eye, the world’s first vibrator with camera and now with their recently released Pulse Pure  a deep suction stimulator with Svakom’s new patented Pulse Technology, and the Avery Vibrator a thrusting rabbit with dual-head stimulation but the company also support communities and the planet through the sponsorship of numerous non-profit organisations such as Trees for the Future whose aim is to reform livelihoods of poverty-stricken farmers by regenerating degraded lands by  training them in agroforestry and sustainable land use, so that they can grow vibrant regional economies and thriving food systems. If you see a  ‘1 product 1 tree’ sticker on selected Svakom products, you’ve just done a little bit more to help the environment as Svakom guarantee to plant a tree on the sale of every item listed below

Winni 2 Remote Controlled Couples Cock Ring

Also During August 20th to 30th Svakom donated 10% of its sales to the Drop in the Bucket foundation, helping in the cause to supply life-saving clean water to communities and schools in Uganda and South Sudan by building wells and sanitation systems. Which creates clean schools for children to enrol, so they can receive an education and build equality especially for aspiring young girls

Sustainability – Earthly Body has been a staple brand of ours since 2011 and the core product range hasn’t changed much since we launched it. Earthly Body continue to use the highest quality ingredients in all its products, over 90% of which are naturally derived. So how are Earthly Body a sustainable business?

Earthly Body are definite leaders in the adult products industry when using sustainable resources. Their manufacturing and distribution facilities are powered by solar energy. And, as we know, solar power is a great alternative to using fossil fuels, its eco-friendly, and reduces our carbon footprint and what better place to have a solar powered facility than in sunny California!

Earthly Body commonly use Hemp throughout their product range as it’s a great sustainable crop – as used in their Earthly Body Edible Massage Oil Gift Set Box. The Hemp crop takes up less space and uses less water to grow than other crops, plus it is grown without the use of pesticides. In addition, it grows quickly, organically and with a higher yield effectively making it a fantastic sustainable material

To add another few ticks to the sustainable check list, Earthly Body use recyclable packaging, all products are free from animal cruelty, they even have electric car charging stations for their employees in the company carpark plus they are another company to support Trees for the Future foundation. Go Earthly Body!

Labour/Working Conditions – Doc Johnson was born in 1976. 40 years strong it has always stood by its principle to produce some of the most iconic, innovative products on the market whilst keeping manufacturing in America.

‘My mission was to create the most superior products on the market, while maintaining a solid culture of integrity and forthrightness. Keeping manufacturing in America and keeping Americans employed has always been extremely important to me, as my way of supporting the economy and the local community’ – Ron Braverman Founder/Owner

To this day Doc Johnson supports local communities and locally employs 500 members of staff. You can check out the manufacturing facilities in their California warehouse here

One of our HUGE (And I mean HUGE) sellers is the The Great American Challenge Huge Dildo. Proudly made in America this eye waterer has been part of the Net1on1 catalogue since we started back in 2000. Not only is it manufactured in their Californian facility, but it is also made from phthalate-free body-safe material, which includes Doc’s antibacterial Sil-A-Gel formula.

Reducing Waste + Giving Back – Loving Joy. Our brand has seen some changes over the past decade. It originally started out with crazy cartoon illustrations, questionable product names and some wild colour themes, a world away from what the brand looks like today. Now Loving Joy has opted for a much more contemporary look, using responsibly sourced packaging, and high-quality materials.

Most of our packaging is now made from resourced recycled materials to produce gloss white boxes with a crisp product image on the front our packages as shown here on the Rose Toy Clitoral Suction Vibrator Not only has this process elevated the brand’s profile but by doing so we have reduced our waste by over 65% in the past 3 years. A win win for Loving Joy!

Net1on1 Wholesale is now giving you the opportunity to help. We have teamed up More Trees an organisation who work with tree planters across the world. Helping this foundation we can make a difference. By planting trees, we can

  • Absorb carbon from the atmosphere
  • Provide farms with work to support the local economy
  • Give someone an income and a skill
  • Protect animals from deforestation to feed their family
  • Increase rainfall, purify water, and improve crop yield

At the basket stage of your order process, you can now pay £1 to Plant a Tree Donation. When you add “plant a tree” for just £1 to your basket and you check out, Net1on1 Wholesale will match it and plant another tree! Together we can make a difference, a small change can make a big impact!
