Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Permanent Cron Jobs

Step 1: Create a Free Account

  1. Visit FastCron and sign up for a free account.

Once your account is set up, proceed to add the following cron jobs:

Step 2: Set Up Stock Sync

  1. Create a new cron job for stock synchronization.
  2. Configure it to run every 15 minutes.
  3. Enter the following URL:
    https://yourwebsitenamehere.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/Net1on1_API/cron_product_import.php?time=__timestamp__

Step 3: Set Up Order Export

  1. Create a new cron job for order export.
  2. Set it to run every 15 minutes.
  3. Use the following URL:
    http://yourwebsitenamehere.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/Net1on1_API/cron_order_import.php?time=__timestamp__

Note: If you have alternative suppliers, keep in mind that you will still need to manually enter stock orders on their websites.

Step 4: Set Up Discontinued Products

  1. Create a new cron job to handle discontinued products.
  2. Schedule it to run once a day.
  3. Enter the following URL:
    https://yourwebsitenamehere.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/Net1on1_API/cron_discon_import.php?time=__timestamp__

Step 5: Save Your Settings
Make sure to save all your cron job settings to ensure they are activated.

Step 6: Test!

  1. Place a test order on your WooCommerce Store, make sure you put test in the shipping address or contact our staff and let them know so that your order doesn’t ship.
  2. If the order is exported automatically to our system then you will be able to see if in your dashboard.
