Meet the Team
Tony Gonzalez
My full name is Jose Antonio Perez Gonzalez, but everybody calls me Tony. I’m the Managing Director and Owner of Net1on1 Wholesale, but I started from much humbler roots – I was a beach bum at the age of 16, teaching windsurfing and hiring out pedal boats in Spain – good times! I eventually made my move to the adult industry in 2001 when I started working for a company called Apollo before joining Net1on1 Wholesale in 2011.
I immediately fell in love with the sex toy industry as it is like one big family full of great characters and lovely people. It’s an industry like no other, it is relaxed and attracts the coolest people. I love the fact that we can have serious, high-stake meetings with industry friends without having to worry too much about formalities.
Not everyone knows this, but Net1on1 Wholesale is a family business; I work alongside my son, Sebastian and my wife, Nicole. I grew up in Spain, so I speak fluent Spanish and I love to chat about almost anything from motorbikes – I own one! – to American Football – which I played for years when I was younger. My favourite movie is Sergeant York, a Gary Cooper film from 1941, but I do love my comic book flicks too!
In terms of my area of expertise, while I don’t like blowing my own trumpet, the last nearly 20 years in the adult industry have made me a bit of an expert in product and website development, supplier and customer relationships and product knowledge from a manufacturing point of view. Sebastian Gonzalez
My name is Sebastian Gonzalez and I’m the director of orgasms! Nah, just kidding, I’m the Sales Manager of Net1on1 Wholesale, but that’s just one of the many hats I wear in our family business. I also wore an academic cap when I finished my studies at the University College London and got a degree in History and Philosophy of Science – I’m yet to use this knowledge in the sex toys industry, but you never know! I started working at Net1on1 Wholesale in 2014 and worked my way up from a warehouse job to the position I hold now.
Some might say, I have the gift of the gab, so it’s always been fun for me to establish and maintain customer and supplier relationships – they just can’t resist my charm and sense of humour! But jokes aside, I genuinely enjoy chatting with customers, they are the most important part of our business and this industry is like a big family, so it’s a bit like calling up Aunt Carol or Uncle Ryan anyway.
I enjoy travelling and getting up to no good with my friends wherever the night takes us – I’m pretty sure we are equally loved and feared on the Stockholm scene by now! My interests are a bit random to be honest, I’ve done a spot of golfing, life drawing, snowboarding, Spanish lessons and much more in just the last couple of years, so you never really know what you’ll get with me, I like to keep things unpredictable.
I’d say that my area of expertise is product knowledge, but, like with everything else in my life, I like to shift things around, so I also beefed up my SEO knowledge recently to be able to optimise our websites and help our customers do the same with theirs. Nicole Gonzalez
My name is Nicole Gonzalez, and I’m the Administrator and Buyer at Net1on1 Wholesale. I also keep everyone hydrated – I honestly don’t know what the others would do without the many-many cups of tea and coffee I make every day! I had a very different career before this one though; I worked 16 years as an examinations officer in a local secondary school, so I know my way around administrative paperwork, planning complex operations and liaising with a large variety of people. All of which have been coming very handy in my role at Net1on1 Wholesale in the last 4 years since Tony tempted me into working with him.
To be honest, never in my life I would have thought that I will work with adult toys one day, but I can’t help but love the sex toy industry anyway. It has such variety both in terms of the people I get to know through work and the kind of tasks I’m doing daily. No two days are the same and I get to work with my son and husband, so the office is truly a home away from home for us.
That being said, I do enjoy my home-time where I get to pursue my love of sewing, crafts, upcycling furniture and patchworking – I’m really proud to have completed my first patchwork quilt recently as a Christening present. I played netball competitively for years and even sang at the legendary Glyndebourne Opera House when I was younger. I also had my ultimate Mamma Mia/Grease moment and met the love of my life and husband, Tony, on a sunny Spanish holiday.
My area of expertise is administration and buying, and it often feels like I’m right at the heart of the machine that powers Net1on1 Wholesale with me keeping all the cogs well-oiled and running smoothly. Danielle Warn
I’m Danielle Warn, Wholesale Account Executive at Net1on1 Wholesale, but really, this is only the latest in a long line of titles and jobs I’ve fulfilled at this company in the last 14 years. I’ve been with Net1on1 since I was 20 years old, so I basically built my CV, skillset, and employment history with this business. I did customer service, buying, sales, you name it, so I really know this industry inside-out.
And what an industry this is?! It’s like a big family that accepts you wherever you are from, whatever your quirk, whatever your interest, background or niche. We’re professional at all times and take business seriously, but it never has a stuffy corporate feel – no one knows how to party like adult industry people do!
Of course, I have my own ways of throwing it down too! I was taught how to play pool and snooker by a semi pro, and I used to play for a ladies’ darts team, so you definitely want me on your pub-crawl team. I also love chess and I used to dance ballet, modern, tap and jazz, but I’m a bit more boring these days as I’ve recently swapped changing records on the jukebox to changing nappies for my son. I did learn all the verses to Row, Row, Row Your Boat now, so that’s a talent too, trust me!
I’m really proud of the amount of experience I accumulated in the industry, but I’d say I’m really at the top of my game when it comes to product knowledge, critical path management and wholesale account acquisition and management. I have a genuine passion for customers, retail, branding and products so I always jump into any projects with full enthusiasm. Lili Hornyai
My name is Lili Hornyai and I’m responsible for customer service, social media management and content creation at Net1on1 Wholesale. I had the chance to try myself in a variety of industries in the last decade including testing video games for EA, serving fast food for McDonalds, selling soft toys for Disney and taking bets for William Hill. I became a university student at 27 on a Media Studies course at Brighton Uni and finished with a first-class degree. I joined Net1on1 after I graduated in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the adult industry.
One of the biggest perks of the job for me is that I get to be up to date on all the latest sex toy inventions and developments in sexual health and sex education. I especially enjoy using my creative writing skills to write product descriptions, packaging copy and blog posts – writing about sex toys really allows for a rich, imaginative use of language. What can I say, I love a good alliteration, a pointed allegory or a killer pun.
In my free time I’m a massive geek with a fanart Instagram account where I share my various fandom-related artwork. I can also list the title of all 144 episodes of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer in about 5 minutes, and when it comes to cooperative board games like Pandemic, you definitely want me on your team! I kinda keep an encyclopaedia of pop culture in my brain – films, TV, music from the last 40-50 years is my pub quiz area of expertise. I’m also an amateur birdwatcher and recently picked up baking as a hobby, so watch out Bake Off 2025, here I come!
I have a lot of experience in customer service and I tend to be the first point of contact for many of our customers, so chances are you and I have already corresponded before. Nikki Mitchell
My name is Nikki Mitchell and I’m the bookkeeper for Net1on1 Wholesale but believe it or not, this is not my first foray into a naughty business! After working in hotel management for some time, I helped build up the largest male strip show for hen nights in the UK, Adonis Cabaret. I was working with male dancers, strippers and drag queens for over 10 years so I know my way around the kinky and the unmentionable. Surprisingly enough I felt I needed a change from the hunks, so here I am!
I’m so lucky cause I genuinely love my job so much that I actually look forward to every day with renewed energies. That being said, it’s just that much more enjoyable to work in an industry that is so friendly, welcoming and easy-going. I know it’s a cliché and that the others must have said this too, but the adult industry is like a big family. A big family with all its jolly dysfunction and banter that I’m used to and love.
I’ve done a fair bit of travelling in my life and would love to do more of it – there’s just so much to see, so many places to be – but my biggest passion is feeding people. I’m a self-proclaimed feeder, I bake delicious cakes and then feed them to people, as I’m not actually a huge fan of cakes myself – what a combination, right?! I can tell you though, I was rather popular wherever I worked; my cakes are criminally delicious!
