Setting Up Shipping in WooCommerce and Integrating with the Net1on1 API

Here we outline how to set up shipping in your WooCommerce store and sync it with our API that allows for full end to end integration with our warehousing systems.

Please note, you only need to set up the shipping methods that you want to use. So please ignore any of the steps if you don’t want to ship using a Courier or to Europe.

1. Navigate to WooCommerce Settings:

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and click on Add Zone.

2. Define the Shipping Zone:

Name the zone based on the destination, for example, United Kingdom. This will accommodate all orders for delivery within the UK.

3. Specify the Zone Region:

Enter United Kingdom as the zone region and select United Kingdom from the dropdown under Europe.

4. Add Shipping Methods:

For shipping within the UK, you can choose from the following methods:

a) Royal Mail Tracked 48
b) Royal Mail Tracked 24
c) Courier Express Delivery
d) Saturday Delivery

5. Configure Shipping Methods:

Create all shipping methods and assign appropriate prices and free shipping thresholds, if desired.

Once finished, the shipping module should look something like this:

6. Repeat for Other Regions:

Follow the same steps to set up shipping zones for Rest of World and Europe.

Once finished, it should look something like this:

7. Access Net1on1 API Client Settings:

Go to Net1on1 API Client > Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.

8. Input Shipping Method Names:

In the section labeled Next Day Shipping Name, enter the name you assigned for the courier shipments zone. Repeat this process for Tracked 24 Shipping Name and Saturday Delivery Shipping Name.

Note: There is no need to label Royal Mail Tracked 48 as it is the default method used when none of the above options are detected. Additionally, you do not need to configure shipping for Rest of World or European shipping as these will automatically process through the single shipping type available.

9. Save Changes

Once you’ve completed these steps, click Save Changes to finalise your settings.

The module should then look like this:
